5. Sending Email when an Event Occurs

This video below contains a brief explanation and a simple application for those who are new to Sollae Systems’ PHPoC programmable devices.

In this fourth tutorial, we will set a specific range of temperature data from a serial port.
Then, when temperature is not in the range, an E-mail will be sent with temperature data.

One thing to remember is that PBH-101 must be connected to the Internet to access a mail server.

When temperature data is over 21 degree, an E-mail will be sent through the Google mail server.
To get the account authorization from the mail server, we will use "Extended SMTP" protocol.
